Collection

We operate as a collection and delivery service in Fife, Kinross, Perthshire & Mid/West Lothian. Contact us by telephone, email or via Facebook and we will arrange to collect your rugs, etc at a time and place convenient to you.

It is helpful if you can indicate on each item the service you require, eg wash/reproof/repair/etc + your name.

Process

Once back at the laundry, all your items are carefully checked, tagged and logged - so nothing goes astray.

Washing/Reproofing

We use environmentally friendly Nikwax Products, specifically designed for equine materials.

Drying

All rugs are air dried (not tumble dried which can cause shrinkage).

Repairs

You can either specify the exact repairs you require, ie new long surcingle or leave with us to repair rugs, whereby we repair/replace any damaged/loose/missing hardware and straps; and repair all significant holes/tears to leave the rug in a useable/watertight condition.

We keep all our repair prices to a minimum, but if you require a quotation prior to undertaking the  work, please ask.

Packaging for Return

All items are carefully packaged to ensure they remain clean and are clearly labelled for your convenience.

Returns 

We aim to return your rugs to you within 7-10 days, but where possible will accommodate other requirements. Once ready, we will contact you to drop off your items at a convenient time and location.

Payment

Payment is made on return of your items, either by cash or cheque- made payable to 'The Rug Master'.
